research Project Development and management

I work with you and your team to understand your research ideas and to support you in determining the steps to meet the project goals. I make recommendations for the flow of your qualitative research project, from data collection strategies and analysis to meeting deadlines.

I assist you in developing data collection tools and preparing research materials like consent forms, research, and interview questions. I also support preparing written proposals and presentations for grant funding and research ethics applications.

I advise on making ethical decisions, coordinating and leading team meetings, designing the research project questions, conducting and synthesizing the interview reviews, determining the methodology (interviews, focus groups, etc.), supporting how to transcribe data, and assisting with the analysis.

I can also serve on research advisory committees or other tasks as mutually agreed upon.

Knowledge translation strategies

Are you interested in disseminating your research findings but don’t know where to start? I can help you consider knowledge mobilization activities and deliverables. I will work with you to co-develop a knowledge translation strategy. We will identify a plan for effectively communicating and disseminating your research findings.

I will help you consider unique ways to use your findings for knowledge mobilization activities and product preparation. This can include visual ways such as infographics and graphic recordings. Communicating research with policy briefs for policymakers or other written formats like papers, reports, learning summaries, and abstracts. Along with oral presentations for a diverse audience (e.g., community leaders and government officials).

I offer regular check-ins to help you research your knowledge translation goals. I also offer tips to communicate your research effectively to various stakeholders (e.g., community leaders, non-profit agencies, funders, and policymakers).
